Role Description The General Manager role at Kohinoor Jewellers is a full-time, in office position based in Agra. This role oversees daily store operations, including staff supervision, customer service standards, inventory control, and sales performance. The General Manager will manage scheduling, coordinate with gemologists and designers, and ensure that merchandising and displays reflect the brand's luxury positioning. This role includes monitoring financial performance, implementing sales strategies, and maintaining compliance with company policies and local regulations.



The General Manager will also handle key client relationships, address escalated customer concerns, and support marketing and promotional activities to grow the business.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in retail or luxury brand management, preferably in jewelry, gemstones, or related industries.
- Strong leadership skills, including team supervision, performance management, and staff development.
- Solid understanding of sales operations, inventory management, and basic financial reporting.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Knowledge of gemstones, jewelry design, or gemology concepts is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site in Agra, manage multiple priorities, and make thoughtful, data-informed decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, basic office software, and comfort with learning new retail technologies.
