Oracle Fusion - Techno/ Functional Consultant

We are looking for an Oracle Fusion Techno-Functional Consultant (Finance) with 3–4 years of experience to support and drive Oracle Fusion ERP implementation and stabilisation initiatives. The role requires someone equally comfortable in functional configuration and technical troubleshooting, who can work hands-on through implementation cycles, partner with Big 4 advisory teams engaged on the program, and act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the implementation partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate end-to-end in Oracle Fusion Finance implementation - requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, and hypercare.

• Work closely with Big 4 implementation/advisory resources to align on project plans, milestones, and governance cadence.

• Independently review implementation deliverables, configuration workbooks, and design documents submitted by the implementation partner for completeness and fit to business needs.

• Own stakeholder management across Finance, Operations, and IT - running workshops, status reviews, and sign-offs with business and leadership.

• Understand ground-level operational pain points from business users and translate them into practical Oracle Fusion solutions or process changes.

• Handle techno-functional activities: functional setups (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Tax) along with FBDI/ADFDI data loads, OTBI/BI Publisher reports, and basic integration troubleshooting.





• Manage production support — root-cause analysis, defect resolution, enhancements, and coordination with Oracle support (SRs) where required.

• Maintain documentation: process flows, SOPs, test scripts, and training material for business users.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–4 years of overall Oracle Fusion experience, with at least one full-cycle implementation or major rollout in Finance/ERP.

• Strong functional grounding in core Financial modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management; working knowledge of Tax is a plus.

• Techno-functional aptitude - able to read/debug FBDI templates, OTBI/BI Publisher reports, and coordinate on OIC-based integrations even without owning the build.

• Prior experience working alongside Big 4 or similar large consulting/implementation partners in a program setting.

• Robust stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to convert vague operational pain points into structured, actionable system solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA/CA (Inter) is an advantage.

Good to Have

• Oracle Fusion Cloud certification (Financials).

• Exposure to the logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry.

• Working knowledge of SQL/PL-SQL for data validation and issue diagnosis.

• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or middleware integrations.
