Responsibilities:

Claims Management:

- Handle end-to-end processing of marine insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution.
- Assess claims documentation, verify policy coverage, and liaise with clients, surveyors, and underwriters.
- Investigate and analyze loss events, including damage, theft, or delays during transit.

Demurrage & Freight Handling:

- Review and process demurrage claims related to cargo detention and shipping delays.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clients to ensure proper documentation and claims settlement.
- Monitor timelines and financial aspects of demurrage claims to prevent revenue leakage.

Documentation & Compliance:

- Handle import and export documentation related to marine shipments, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.




- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies during claims processing.
- Maintain accurate records of all claims, correspondence, and settlements for auditing and reporting purposes.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination:

- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, insurers, and legal teams regarding claims status and requirements.
- Provide advisory support to clients on marine insurance policies, coverage, and claims procedures.
- Assist in resolving disputes or escalations related to claims or demurrage charges.
