Role Description The Electrical Drafter is a full-time, in office role based in Kochi, responsible for preparing detailed electrical drawings and plans for building and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day tasks include translating electrical designs and engineering concepts into accurate technical drawings using CAD software, coordinating with electrical engineers and other design team members, and updating drawings based on review comments and design changes. The role involves ensuring all electrical layouts comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications,



as well as maintaining organized documentation and drawing registers. The Electrical Drafter supports project delivery by providing accurate, timely drawings and assisting with design clarifications during construction and installation phases.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering to support the development of compliant and efficient electrical systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Technical Drawing and Electrical Plans to create accurate layouts, schematics, and documentation.
- Candidates should possess a strong understanding of Electricity and basic power distribution concepts for building and infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should be proficient in CAD or other drafting software and familiar with relevant electrical codes and standards.
- Candidates should have strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and prior experience as an electrical drafter or in a similar role, will be beneficial.
