The role requires extensive expertise in AWS Glue-based data integration solutions, serverless architectures, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern cloud integration patterns.
The architect will leverage AWS services such as AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Event Bridge, SQS, Cloud Formation, CDK (Type Script), and Code Build to build scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions. Strong experience in Python, PySpark, SQL, and Type Script is required, along with expertise in Data Mesh architectures, multi-tenant integration platforms, cross-account deployments, and event-driven integration patterns.
The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to deliver cloud solutions using Agile methodologies, Dev Ops practices, and modern AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and accelerate software delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Design and architect enterprise-scale AWS Glue-based data integration solutions for cloud-native applications and Data Mesh platforms.
2. Lead the design and implementation of serverless integration architectures using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Event Bridge, SQS, and AWS Glue.
3. Develop and optimize AWS Glue ETL jobs using Python and PySpark for large-scale data processing and transformation.
4. Design metadata-driven and configuration-over-code integration frameworks using JSON schemas and reusable architecture patterns.
5. Build scalable, event-driven integration pipelines supporting JDBC, REST APIs, SFTP, and messaging-based integrations.
6. Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using AWS CDK (Type Script) and Cloud Formation.
7. Lead multi-tenant architecture decisions and cross-account deployment strategies across AWS environments.
8.
Develop backend services using Type Script and Python for serverless applications.
9. Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Build, Jenkins, Git Hub, and Dev Ops best practices.
10. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to gather requirements, conduct architecture reviews, and deliver solution demonstrations.
11. Ensure security, governance, monitoring, and operational excellence across AWS integration platforms.
12. Optimize AWS solutions for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
13. Mentor development teams and establish best practices for cloud-native integration and automation.
14. Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot and Claude Code to improve engineering productivity and accelerate SDLC processes.
15. Work closely with Agile teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions following Dev Ops and continuous integration practices.
