Job Description:
- Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases for data warehouse and data integration projects.
- Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes across multiple source and target systems.
- Perform data validation using complex SQL queries.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and PySpark.
- Create and execute Unix shell scripts to support ETL testing activities.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and data engineers to understand data mapping and business rules.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, completeness, and consistency across ETL workflows.
- Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test execution reports.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and
- retrospectives.
