About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and performance-driven Assistant Manager - Sales Training to lead learning and development initiatives for tele-calling and sales teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enhance sales effectiveness, product knowledge, customer engagement, and conversion rates. This role requires a strong trainer with expertise in telesales, coaching, consultative selling, and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Development

- Design and deliver onboarding, induction, and continuous learning programs for tele-calling and sales teams.
- Develop training content, sales scripts, call-flow frameworks, pitch guides, product modules, and learning materials.
- Conduct refresher, behavioral, advanced sales, and product training sessions based on business needs and performance gaps.
- Ensure employees are well-versed in membership products, pricing structures, offers, and customer value propositions.

Sales Coaching & Performance Improvement

- Train advisors on consultative selling, objection handling, negotiation, rapport building, and closing techniques.
- Monitor live and recorded customer interactions to assess performance and identify coaching opportunities.
- Provide structured feedback and one-on-one coaching to improve sales effectiveness and call quality.
- Drive continuous improvement in conversion rates, productivity, and revenue generation.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams to align training initiatives with business objectives and campaigns.
- Support recent product launches and promotional activities through targeted training interventions.
- Collaborate with team leaders and managers to identify skill gaps and implement development plans.

Training Effectiveness & Reporting

- Measure training effectiveness through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:
- Conversion Rate




- Call Quality Scores
- Productivity Metrics
- Revenue Impact
- Customer Engagement Levels
- Analyze performance data and recommend training improvements.
- Maintain training calendars, attendance records, assessments, certifications, and learning documentation.

Required Skills & Competencies

Mandatory Skills

- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Strong expertise in telesales training and adult learning methodologies.
- Proven ability to improve sales performance through structured coaching and training interventions.
- Experience working in high-ticket sales, membership sales, vacation ownership, timeshare, hospitality, or BPO environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and training outcomes.
- Highly energetic, target-oriented, and capable of motivating sales teams to achieve business goals.

Educational Qualification

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Certifications in Learning & Development, Sales Training, or Training Management will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

- 2-5 years of experience in:
- Tele-calling Training
- Sales Training
- BPO Training
- Hospitality Training
- Vacation Ownership or Timeshare Industry Training
- Experience in handling telesales or membership-based sales teams is highly preferred.

Additional Requirements

- Fluency in Tamil and Malayalam is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and customer engagement techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple training programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with performance metrics and coaching teams to achieve sales targets.
