We are seeking a highly motivated Supplier Business Development Manager to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and managing supplier relationships to support our business objectives and drive growth.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement supplier business development strategies to enhance supplier partnerships.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to expand the supplier network.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in supplier markets.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to optimize cost and quality.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as procurement, logistics, and finance to align supplier strategies with business goals.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance with agreements and service levels.




- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate supplier performance and business development progress to management.

Skills and Qualifications

- 5-15 years of experience in supplier management, procurement, or business development.
- Robust negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and market research techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., MS Office, ERP systems).
