About The Role:

As an Agrochemical Specialist within Sathguru's agri consultancy team, this techno-managerial role encompasses a comprehensive grasp of the latest advancements in technology and product innovations within the agrochemical sector. This specialist should possess a deep awareness of evolving market trends and regulatory frameworks that are instrumental in shaping both the current landscape and future trajectory of the agrochemical industry, both at a regional and global scale.

Responsibilities:

- Stay updated on industries technology and market trends, regulations, and best practices related to agrochemicals.
- Collating and analyzing technology trends in the agri inputs industry working in cross sectoral domains including Agrochemicals, Seeds, Ag-Biologicals, Ag-Biotech & Ag-Tech.
- Engaging with technology providers/partners periodically for getting updates on latest technologies available with them for technology transfer.
- Identifying and building relationships with clients and pitching suitable technologies to them, leveraging technologies available with technology providers.
- Preparing detailed technology briefs to be shared with clients for technology transfer.




- Drafting and vetting of various business & license agreements like confidentiality agreement, material transfer agreement, technology licensing agreement.
- Due diligence activities related to intellectual property & sector specific technologies for business advisory services and licensing transactions.
- Technology / patent evaluation, commercial evaluation, market research, regulatory approval, and requirement studies.
- Writing and timely submission of project reports.
- Writing technical articles for publications in industry magazines.

Qualification & Experience:

- Sc. or Ph.D. in Agriculture with a specialization in Agrochemical Research (experience on fertilizers or pesticides research will be desirable).
- Knowledge of agrochemicals industry trends, research, technology, and regulatory landscape.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Agrochemical (fertilizers or pesticides) industry.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting and handle multiple assignments.
