We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and industry -oriented Lecturer in Rooms Division Management to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, practical industry experience, and the ability to deliver engaging and interactive learning experiences that prepare students for successful careers in the accommodation and guest services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions related to Rooms Division Management and associated subjects.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and assessment materials.
- Provide industry -focused training, guidance, and mentorship to students.
- Conduct classroom activities, case studies, demonstrations, and workshops.
- Assess student performance through examinations, projects, presentations, and practical evaluations.
- Support students with internships, placements, and career development initiatives.
- Participate in curriculum design, academic planning, and institutional activities.
- Maintain professional standards and an effective learning environment.
- Bridge theoretical concepts with real -world operational practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance student learning outcomes.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Rooms Division Management, Hotel Management, Tourism Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a reputed 5 -star hotel, preferably within Front Office, Accommodation Operations, Guest Services, or Rooms Division functions.
- Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of accommodation operations, guest experience management, service excellence, and operational standards.
