Job Summary

The Head of Human Resources will lead the overall HR function, driving people strategy aligned with business objectives across corporate offices and project sites. The role is responsible for talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, learning & development, statutory compliance, and organizational development. The incumbent will play a strategic role in building a high-performance culture and ensuring the availability of skilled talent to support project execution and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and project requirements.
- Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational effectiveness and workforce productivity.
- Lead manpower planning for corporate functions and project sites.
- Build a strong performance-driven and employee-centric culture.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

- Oversee recruitment strategies for corporate, engineering, project management, and site workforce.
- Ensure timely mobilization of manpower for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Develop talent pipelines for key technical and leadership positions.
- Build employer branding initiatives to attract top industry talent.

Performance Management

- Design and implement performance management systems.
- Drive goal setting, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Coach business leaders on talent development and performance improvement.

Learning & Development

- Identify competency gaps and prepare annual training calendars.
- Develop leadership development and succession planning programs.
- Facilitate technical, behavioral, and compliance training initiatives.





Compensation & Benefits

- Develop competitive compensation and reward frameworks.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and market studies.
- Ensure effective administration of payroll, incentives, bonuses, and advantages.

Employee Relations & Engagement

- Foster positive employee relations across corporate and project locations.
- Address grievances and disciplinary matters professionally.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and welfare initiatives.
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being programs.

HR Operations & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Oversee HR operations, employee records, payroll inputs, and HR systems.
- Manage audits related to labor compliance and statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Contractor Labour, PF, ESI, Shops & Establishments, and other applicable laws.

Industrial Relations (IR)

- Manage industrial relations and labor management at project sites.
- Engage with workforce representatives and contractors.
- Minimize labor disputes through effective communication and issue resolution.

HR Analytics & Reporting

- Monitor HR metrics including attrition, recruitment efficiency, productivity, and employee engagement.
- Present people insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Utilize HR data to improve workforce planning and business decisions.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,



or related discipline.
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institution.
- Additional certifications in Labor Laws, Industrial Relations, or HR Analytics preferred.

Experience

- 15-20+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience in Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, Real Estate, Manufacturing, or Engineering sectors.
- Exposure to managing large blue-collar and white-collar workforces across multiple locations.
