We are seeking a highly motivated person to join our Corporate Governance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of corporate governance principles, internal audit standards, COSO and IFC guidelines, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. The person will be responsible for overseeing the company's corporate governance practices, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, conducting/ overlooking the internal audits and IFC activities of the organization.
In addition to this, understanding of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors and their relevance to corporate governance, risk management, and long-term value creation will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain corporate governance policies and procedures in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate the company's compliance with corporate governance guidelines, codes of conduct, and ethical standards.
- Deal with external auditors on audit related issues and concerns.
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
- Conducting internal audit, follow-up audits and IFC testing
- Facilitate Compliance/ internal Audits
- Collecting and maintaining global ESG data
- Reporting to Senior Manager Corporate Governance
- Knowledge of financial and operational processes
- Establish working relationships with peers and seniors
Requirement
- Experience of 1-3 years
- Qualified CA/ MBA/ Graduates
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a quick-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
