Job Summary We are looking for an experienced VMware NSX-T L3 Engineer to lead and support enterprise network virtualization and security operations within a BFSI environment. The role involves advanced troubleshooting, implementation, optimization, and support of VMware NSX-T infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities •

Provide L3 support for VMware NSX-T infrastructure and critical incidents • Design, implement, and troubleshoot NSX-T logical networking components • Manage Tier-0/Tier-1 gateways, overlay networking, routing, and switching • Configure and support Distributed Firewall (DFW) and micro-segmentation policies • Handle NSX Manager, Edge Nodes, Transport Nodes, and Transport Zones • Support overlay-underlay network integration and troubleshooting • Perform upgrades, migrations, patching, and optimization activities • Analyze logs, perform RCA, and resolve complex network/security issues • Support incident, problem, and change management processes • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams • Ensure compliance with BFSI security and operational standards • Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, HLD/LLD,



and operational reports • Mentor L1/L2 engineers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives

Technical Skills Required • Strong hands-on experience with VMware NSX-T • Positive understanding of: • Logical Switching & Routing • Distributed Firewall (DFW) • Micro-Segmentation • Edge Services Gateway • Geneve Overlay Networking • Strong networking fundamentals: • TCP/IP • Routing & Switching • VLANs • BGP / OSPF • Good understanding of VMware vSphere and virtualization concepts • Experience in troubleshooting complex network and security issues • Familiarity with data center networking concepts

Preferred Skills • Experience working in BFSI environments • Exposure to automation/scripting is an added advantage • Knowledge of SDN and network security best practices • VMware NSX certification preferred • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Good communication and stakeholder management • Ability to work in high-pressure production environments • Team collaboration and mentoring abilities Location- Mumbai Experience- 8+yr
