Role summary

We are seeking an experienced, results driven Regional Sales Manager Salon Channel to lead PanIndia growth for Colormate Professional through salon partnerships, distributor & superstockist networks, and professional beauty channels. The role owns salon channel strategy, business development, key account management, P&L; responsibility for the channel, and leadership of regional sales teams. This position requires extensive field travel.

Key responsibilities

- Own Pan India salon channel strategy and execute go to market plans to achieve revenue, market-share, and distribution targets.
- Identify, onboard, and nurture premium salons, salon chains, beauty professionals, and academies; convert them into strategic, revenuegenerating partners.
- Build, expand, and manage distributor and super stockist networks to ensure coverage, supply reliability, and growth across regions.
- Secure strategic salon tieups and national chain agreements, including negotiations on commercial terms, MOU/contracting, and joint programs.
- Lead sales forecasting, pipeline management, business reporting, and performance metrics to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Recruit, lead, coach, and performance - manage regional sales leaders and field teams; set targets, KPIs, and development plans.
- Plan and execute insalon activations, workshops,



product education, trainer programs, and events in close collaboration with marketing and education teams.
- Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, territory planning, and identify white - space opportunities for new launches and formats.
- Ensure consistent product placement, merchandising standards, and insalon usage protocols to drive sell through and repeat orders.
- Manage key accounts and strategic escalations; travel extensively across India for business expansion and relationship management.

Qualifications & experience

- 15 20+ years of sales and business development experience in the beauty, cosmetics, skincare, professional salon, haircare, or FMCG sectors, with a strong track record in salon channel management.
- Proven experience handling PanIndia sales operations, distributor networks, and multiregion teams.
- Established network and relationships across premium salons, salon chains, distributors, and beauty professionals.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and peopledevelopment skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale distribution, acquire key salon accounts, and close national partnerships.
- MBA or graduate in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related discipline preferred.
