Job Overview

The Practice Director will lead and expand Everest Group's Healthcare & Lifesciences (HLS) service line, with a primary focus on healthcare enterprises, payers, providers, pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations, and healthcare technology service providers.
The role requires creating differentiated intellectual property (IP), thought leadership, and advisory frameworks that help large global healthcare organizations address strategic technology adoption, digital transformation, and sourcing challenges. The individual will deliver high-impact analysis and advice to senior executives, identify emerging market needs, and shape research agendas aligned with healthcare IT services, digital health, engineering services, and global sourcing trends.
The Practice Director will actively participate in business development, client advisory engagements, executive presentations, and industry forums,



while building a strong external reputation in the HLS ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and expand firm IP focused on strategic healthcare technology, digital transformation, and sourcing issues within the HLS domain
- Develop actionable insights by evaluating and analyzing information collected through primary interviews, surveys, financial analysis, and market research
- Lead research initiatives covering healthcare IT services, payer/provider transformation, pharma digital initiatives, value-based care enablement, and healthcare operations
- Collaborate across practices to deliver cross-domain research where healthcare intersects with engineering, IT services, and global sourcing
- Work closely with the sales team to support business development and drive closure and delivery of advisory engagements
- Engage at the executive level with healthcare enterprises, service providers, Private Equity (PE) firms, and industry bodies to analyze strategy, positioning, and evolving market dynamics
- Develop research-backed frameworks, toolkits, and scenario models to support client decision-making
- Represent Everest Group in external forums, client meetings,



webinars, and industry events
- Manage multiple research and advisory initiatives from concept development through client delivery
- Supervise team activities and actively mentor and develop team members within the HLS practice

Education and Experience

- Post Masters 6 to 9 years of experience in a professional services environment (management consulting, business research, or advisory), preferably with exposure to healthcare and life sciences
- Experience in:
- Healthcare IT services or digital health consulting
- Global sourcing or technology services advisory within healthcare
- Consulting organizations within Tier 1 IT or healthcare service providers

- Strong understanding of healthcare ecosystem dynamics (payer, provider, pharma, medtech) and related technology transformation initiatives
- Experience building and evaluating business case models for healthcare technology adoption and sourcing transformation
- Ability to develop diagnostics, frameworks, and scenario-based analyses for healthcare transformation programs
- Strong relationship orientation and ability to work across internal and external stakeholder ecosystems
- Robust executive presence and presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative leadership style with experience mentoring teams
- MBA/PGDM from a Premium / reputed B-school preferred; engineering or life sciences graduates with strong consulting backgrounds may also be considered
