The project focuses on developing AI-powered Testing & Automation tools and an OCR-based Test Automation platform. Responsibilities include designing and developing scalable AI solutions, Agentic workflows, MCP integrations, OCR capabilities, APIs, and automation tooling for enterprise software testing.

Job Description:
PrimeSoft is seeking a Tool Development Engineer with expertise in developing AI-powered test automation tools and platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in SmartBearTestComplete, Python, OCR technologies, AI Agentic Frameworks, and software engineering. A solid understanding of software testing principles, test automation frameworks, and enterprise automation solutions is essential.

Key responsibilities:

- Design and develop AI-powered test automation tools with OCR capabilities, similar to SmartBearTestComplete.
- Analyze leading test automation platforms and incorporate industry best practices and advanced capabilities into the new solution.
- Develop OCR-based UI test automation features for both desktop and web applications.
- Design and implement scalable system architecture, APIs, and reusable platform components.




- Build AI Agentic workflows and integrate with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and other AI services.
- Optimize AI models and automation features for performance, accuracy, reliability, and user experience.
- Actively participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and client demonstrations.
- Collaborate closely with clients, product owners, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, manage expectations, and deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
- Independently own the end-to-end design, development, testing, and delivery of AI-driven tools and platform components.

Mandatory Skills:

- 58 years of experience in software test automation or test automation tool development.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SmartBear TestComplete.
- Robust hands-on experience in Python application, tool, and API development.
- Hands-on experience with AI Agentic frameworks, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and AI workflow development.
- Experience building OCR-based tools and solutions using open-source OCR frameworks such as Tesseract, EasyOCR, or similar technologies.

Additional (Optional) Skills:

- Experience with LLMs and AI frameworks (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)
- Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
