We are looking for a Assistant Manager for 4PL Business Development at our Taloja MIDC location.

Education: Any Graduate (Preferably B.Com)

Experience: 5-8 Years

Gender: Male

Local candidate will be given preferance.

Key Skills & Competencies Domain:

- Solid knowledge of 4PL, Reefer, Container, and Pan-India transportation with 5-8 Years work experience
- Commercial: Costing, freight negotiation, detention calculation, margin analysis
- Systems: TMS, GPS tracking, MS Excel, OTM -Oracle preferred
- Soft Skills: Client handling, escalation management, team leadership
- Compliance: Knowledge of GST, E-way bill, insurance, in-transit documentation

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management:

- Plan and execute daily transportation for 4PL fleet-reefer/ dry containers
- Ensure on-time pickup, transit, and delivery as per client SLA
- Monitor vehicle utilization, TAT, detention, and route optimization
- Handle exceptions: Detention, route deviations, temperature abuse cases

2. Client & Stakeholder Management:

- Single point of contact for key clients like FMCG, Pharma, Food industry
- Daily reporting: vehicle status, POD, invoice, claim, detention reports




- Conduct client review meetings and address escalations within 24 hours
- Billing coordination: check POD for shortages, damages, temp abuse, detention before raising invoice to avoid CNs

3. Vendor & Cost Management:

- Manage transporter/vendor network for 30MT capacity vehicles across lanes
- Negotiate freight rates, detention terms, and payment cycles
- Ensure compliance with T&C;: insurance, data logger, temp verification

4. Compliance & Process:

- Ensure 100% documentation: LR, POD, E-way bill, Data Logger, Temperature sheet Implement SOPs for advance billing, detention billing ,claim management
- MIS: Daily operations report, fleet utilization, Margin per trip , WCR tracking
- Drive digital tracking and visibility tools for clients

5. Business Growth :

- Support in RFPs and new lane proposals with costing with Margins
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Work on reducing working capital cycle by faster billing and POD closure
