We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our production team. The ideal candidate will execute the creative vision for videos produced primarily for Jewish nonprofit organizations, including fundraising campaigns, documentaries, and yeshiva promotional videos. This role requires strong storytelling ability, technical editing expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a consistent editing style while working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong experience editing professional video content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Mention experience working with AI-powered editing tools (instead of just "incorporating AI") if you want to emphasize it further.
- Experience using Adobe After Effects for motion graphics.
- Robust storytelling and narrative editing skills.
- Ability to work independently while following creative direction.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience creating subtle motion graphics that enhance videos without being overly animated or "cartoony."
- Experience working with AI-powered editing tools to enhance video production workflows and creative output.
- Strong ability to edit interview-driven, story-based content into emotionally engaging narratives.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit long-form and short-form videos based on the creative direction provided by the production team.
- Synchronize interviews and organize raw footage.
- Build compelling storylines from interview content and supporting footage.
- Incorporate subtle motion graphics and animations that enhance the story while maintaining a clean, professional look.
- Utilize AI tools to improve editing efficiency and production quality where appropriate.
- Edit videos that combine interviews, B-roll, graphics, and music into compelling, emotionally engaging stories.
- Ensure all edits align with the company's established visual style and storytelling standards.
- Select and integrate the strongest supporting visuals to reinforce the narrative.
- Add and animate motion graphics.
- Incorporate music, titles, lower thirds, and speaker names.
- Maintain a consistent editing style across all projects.
- Execute creative direction while meeting strict production deadlines.
- Collaborate with the production team and respond promptly to revision requests.
- Communicate with internal staff and, when needed, clients regarding edits and project details.
