About the Role: CPC Credit underwriting managers manages core underwriting activities at the Credit Processing Centres. Credit Processing Associates would be reporting.
Role & responsibilities :
- Monitor Turnaround Time (TAT) from Login to Sanction for Asha Loan cases to ensure timely decisioning.
- Validate data entry accuracy and ensure all borrower details, financial inputs and FI findings are correctly captured in systems.
- Assess and underwrite proposals using Asha-specific evaluation techniques including informal income assessment, surrogate programs and field validation reports.
- Take credit decisions in line with policy guidelines, risk frameworks and deviation approval mechanisms.
- Ensure adherence to audit, compliance and policy requirements, avoiding repeat audit observations.
- Coordinate with FI agencies,
technical vendors and internal teams to obtain necessary inputs for effective underwriting.
- Provide continuous feedback on process gaps, policy changes and underwriting challenges specific to Asha segment.
- Participate in training initiatives, process improvements and pilot programs for enhancing underwriting efficiency.
- Manage stakeholder interactions with Business, Operations and Vendors for seamless case processing.
- Contribute ideas for process enhancements, automation opportunities and cost efficiencies.
