- This role reports to the Head of Financial Crime Operations, India and leads a team of Analysts and Senior Analysts and/or People Leaders within Transaction Monitoring, Financial Crime Operations.
- The role holder will be responsible for TM Level 1, Level 2, Level3 escalations, which will include, and not limited to the performance, driving optimal operations, leading change to meet our collective goals in an open, honest, transparent team, set up to succeed together.
- Maintaining robust financial crime governance is vital to serving our customers better and achieving trust and confidence in our industry.
- The Financial Crime Operations division is responsible for ensuring financial crime accountability and governance across the organisation and creating world-class monitoring and surveillance programs based on best practice.
- Lead complex, high-risk financial crime matters,
syndicated and remediation investigations and subsequent lodgment of Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs).
- Engagement and collaboration with Divisional stakeholders, risk stakeholders and the wider team to operationalize change and strategic deliverables.
What will you bring
- 8-10 years experience in Transaction Monitoring or AML Investigations function in a Leadership role with a global bank or financial services institution.
- Overall 16+ years of experience working in Banking operations in similar capacity.
- Excellent people leadership skills and the ability to manage a large team of Analysts and Senior Analysts and their Leads to effectively prioritise work items and operate within SLA, at top quality, avoiding rework and meeting the teams performance goals.
