Job summary

We are looking for a results-driven professional to lead strategic sourcing, capacity planning, and commercial ownership for production-related procurement. This role will ensure timely material availability, drive supplier performance, and support manufacturing operations with a strong commercial and planning lens. The individual will be responsible for owning vendor relationships end-to-end and collaborating cross-functionally for business continuity and cost effectiveness.

Roles and Responsibilities :

.Capacity Planning & Procurement Decision-Making

Define and evaluate vendor production capacities and lead times.

Plan for tools, number of vendors required, and material readiness in line with production demands.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proactive capacity planning and supply assurance.

.Production Procurement Operations

Manage complete procurement of production materials to ensure zero line stoppages.

Ensure accurate and timely release of vendor production schedules.





Maintain BoM accuracy and coordinate with planning teams for seamless material flow.

.Vendor Management & Performance Monitoring

Own vendor relationships end-to-end, including onboarding, monitoring, and performance reviews.

Conduct regular vendor follow-ups and visits to ensure timely dispatches and material quality.

Re-evaluate and renew supplier contracts periodically.

.Risk Management & Controls

Anticipate supply-side risks using data analysis and implement mitigation strategies.

Ensure adherence to procurement compliance and audit requirements

Job Requirements :

3–7 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles.

Solid commercial negotiation skills with experience handling BoM and vendor contracts.

Exposure to commodity categories like castings, sheet metal, plastics is a strong advantage.

Experience in capacity planning and procurement decision-making
