SAP DRC (Document & Reporting Compliance) Consultant

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled SAP DRC Consultant with hands-on experience in implementation and
support of SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) solutions across multiple countries. The
resource will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance, e-invoicing, and real-time reporting
integrations with tax authorities while maintaining system stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities
Implementation Responsibilities
• Work on end-to-end SAP DRC implementation projects, including requirement gathering,
design, configuration, testing, and go-live.
• Conduct business workshops with Finance/Tax teams to understand statutory and localization
requirements.
• Configure DRC eDocument framework, country-specific e-invoicing, and reporting solutions.
• Set up integration with tax authorities / Peppol / third-party providers.
• Perform initial system setup, support SAP Notes implementation, and DRC cockpit
configuration.
• Prepare functional specifications and support RICEF developments (XML, SmartForms,
mappings).
• Work on S/4HANA integration and necessary core module changes (SD/FI for billing, tax
determination, output management).
• Execute SIT, UAT, and go-live activities with strong focus on compliance readiness.

Support & Operations Responsibilities
• Provide support for SAP DRC across multiple countries and regions (LATAM, Europe, APAC).
• Monitor and manage DRC Cockpit (eDocument processing), including:
o Document status tracking
o Submission to authorities




o Error handling and reprocessing
• Troubleshoot XML errors, tax validation issues, and integration failures.
• Ensure tax determination accuracy, pricing consistency, and master data readiness.
• Support statutory reporting and country-specific compliance requirements.
• Validate and implement SAP Notes, patches, and enhancements related to DRC.
• Collaborate with ABAP/technical teams for issue resolution and enhancements.
• Participate in hypercare and stabilization activities post go-live.
Cross-Functional & Governance Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, IT, and external partners (SAP, PwC, etc.) for issue resolution and
compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in DRC processes and automation.
• Maintain documentation (solution design, process flows, test cases, KT materials).
• Ensure adherence to SLA timelines and statutory submission deadlines.
Required Skills & Experience
Functional Skills
• Robust knowledge of:
o SAP DRC (eDocument Framework, e-Invoicing, Reporting)
o SAP SD Billing integration
• Understanding of global e-invoicing mandates (Peppol, KSeF, etc.).
• Experience in multi-country rollout and localization requirements

Technical & Integration Skills
• Familiarity with:
o XML structures, mappings, and validation
o SAP CPI / PI integration (DRC connectivity)
• Exposure to:
o SAP Notes implementation
o Custom developments (SmartForms, enhancements)
Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capability
• Ability to handle production incidents and escalations
• Effective stakeholder communication and coordination
• Ability to work in global delivery model
