Clean Electric is a Series A funded battery tech company focused on designing and manufacturing advanced li-ion batteries for EVs and energy storage applications which enable rapid charging, long life and unrivalled safety. We are pushing the boundaries of the EV industry with our immersion cooling thermal management, integrated cell-to-pack (CTP) architecture, and proprietary dynamic charging algorithms running on a custom-engineered in-house battery management system.

We are expanding our presence in the energy storage and inverter battery segment by building a strong pan-India distributor network for our GO Series inverter batteries, starting with a set of priority cities and scaling nationally. About the Role

This is a channel sales and distribution-building role focused on establishing and scaling Clean Electric’s distributor network for inverter battery products across India.

The role covers:

- Distributor identification, onboarding, and network expansion
- Phased, city-by-city rollout of the distribution network across India

You will work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and leadership teams to build and scale the distributor network pan-India.

Role Description and Key Responsibilities

The role involves tasks including but not limited to -

1. Distributor Network Development

- Identify, onboard, and build a strong pan-India network of distributors for inverter battery products, starting with a focused set of priority cities
- Drive outbound business development through field visits, calls, and partner engagement to identify and appoint distributors
- Activate and manage partners to drive secondary sales and market penetration




- Track partner performance, manage relationships, and ensure revenue targets
- Gather market intelligence on pricing, competitor activity, and regional demand

Key Skills

- Technical Understanding of the Product: Ability to understand battery technologies and clearly communicate the specifications, applications, and value proposition of inverter battery products.
- Selling to Distributors: Proven ability to pitch, onboard, and close deals with distributors and channel partners in a B2B workplace.
- Sales & Negotiation Skills: Strong commercial acumen with experience handling pricing, credit terms, and contract negotiations.
- Channel Management: Ability to onboard, activate, and manage a network of distributors, driving consistent secondary sales and route-to-market execution.

Desired Qualifications / Experience / Background

- Sales Manager role — open to candidates from executive through manager level with relevant hands-on distribution experience
- Prior experience in area sales, zonal sales, distribution network, or channel management would be a plus
- Experience building or scaling a distributor network in batteries, consumer durables, FMCG, or a related industry is highly preferred
- Proven track record of appointing distributors and driving secondary sales growth is a strong plus
- Willingness to travel extensively across cities for on-ground distributor appointment and network building
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business or related field
- Startup or high-growth environment experience preferred
