Job Title: Senior Expert - Legal

Location Bangalore

- As Senior Expert of Legal at Randstad India, you will hold a critical leadership role responsible for safeguarding the organizations legal interests and empowering business stakeholders through strategic counsel and advisory, meticulously drafted contractual documents, and risk mitigation strategies that align with regulatory frameworks and corporate policies.
- In this role, you will oversee and manage complex legal matters, including the development and implementation of comprehensive litigation and dispute resolution strategies to protect the companys position and minimize exposure.
- Your scope will encompass a broad range of legal issues, from contract negotiation and drafting to compliance oversight and regulatory affairs to critical legal advisories, ensuring that Randstad India consistently adheres to applicable laws and internal standards. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a team of legal professionals, fostering a proactive legal culture that prioritizes ethical governance and business alignment. Your expertise will guide executive decisions and contribute to high-stakes projects, providing pivotal legal insights to support Randstad Indias and its various entities strategic objectives and sustainable growth.
- This role requires a seasoned legal skilled with deep expertise in managing diverse legal functions and advising on complex legal matters across various business segments. Strong leadership and excellent communication skills are essential for enabling alignment with business goals and regulatory standards

What a typical day at work would look like?

- As Senior Expert of Legal, you will lead the legal advisory and litigation function for Randstad India and its entities, focusing on corporate compliance, employment law, IT & cybersecurity,



commercial transactions, and strategic legal support across entities. This senior role requires a proactive approach in managing complex legal matters, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and enabling business growth through strategic legal insights and compliance guidance. Here's what a typical day might look like:

1. General Corporate & Compliance Advisory

- Develop and oversee entity-specific compliance programs, regulatory advisories, and internal policies in ethics and disciplinary issues.
- Establish legal protocols and compliance recommendations tailored to various business units.

2. Employment & HR Advisory

- Provide expertise on staffing laws, labour relations, disciplinary actions, and contractual staff management, including immigration and cross-entity mobility with marketing and cyber security issues.

3. Investigations & Law Enforcement Coordination

- Assist in internal investigations, ethics and integrity policies, and regulatory incident documentation, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
- Oversee POSH policies, whistleblower mechanisms, and conduct training on ethics, data safety, litigation management and legal compliance.

4. Any other responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Your Key Knowledge Areas shall be: -

- Strong Legal Expertise and Attention to Detail: Extensive experience in interpreting and applying complex legal frameworks, with a meticulous focus on drafting, reviewing,



and ensuring precise compliance in all legal documentation and regulatory matters.
- Exceptional Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Advanced written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective interaction with senior management, external legal counsel, and regulatory authorities, and capable of conveying complex legal concepts with clarity and confidence.
- Advanced IT and Legal Research Proficiency: High proficiency in MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint for impactful presentations, alongside significant expertise with legal research platforms like Manupatra, SCC Online, and other specialized legal tech tools.
- Leadership and Team Development: Demonstrated capability in leading and developing high-performing legal teams, promoting collaboration, and achieving key objectives through a results-oriented approach.
- Strategic Legal and Business Alignment: Proven ability to devise and implement legal strategies that align with organizational goals, proactively manage risk, and navigate complex, multi-jurisdictional environments effectively.

What do you bring with you?

Education Qualifications:

- LLB Graduate from reputed law school, LLM and other domain specific certifications is preferable

Experience :

- Should have 12-15 years of experience with at least 8 years in a managerial capacity.
- Preferred Industry experience: staffing and recruitment, law firms or any service industry
