Strategic Materials Sourcing Manager

Location- Nahur, Mumbai

Responsible for end to- end Strategic Material sourcing activities Sourcing, Negotiations, B2B, Inventory Planning & Management, in the compliance of GoldSeal - SAARGUMMI India Pvt. Ltd. policies and procedures.

In addition, this role will address strategic and operational Import & Domestic procurement Raw Material & Capex activities & Inventory Control at all 3 plants Daman, Ahmedabad & Chennai.

Preferred Experience Required 20+ years

Education Required B. Com/, B.B.A/ MBA (Finance/ Materials Management) (Not distance Learning Degree)

Salary Range: 18LPA to 20LPA (Depending on Education & Experience)

What We Look For:

1) Looking after the Global & Domestic procurement, both Capex & Raw Material, Import & Domestic.

2) Negotiate Vendor contracts, Terms, and Pricing.

3) Identify & Evaluate Strategic Purchase Potential Domestic vendors & assess their Quality & Quantity capabilities.

5) Do Cost Improvement Project (CIP) & Material Cost Down (MCD)

6) Managing Vendors Relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc. Important Quarterly Vendor Meets with Suppliers for RM price reduction & Logistics Cost Rationalization.

7) Working with other related depts. to incorporate logistics / import activities & operations between 3 PAN INDIA plants.

8) Experience in MRP Planning in SAP & RM Demand Forecasting MRP Hands on SAP Reporting.

9) Safety stocks / Monitoring Inventory control.

Skills Required:

- Complete Knowledge of SAP SAP MM and PP/S4 HANA -MM, PP, CO Modules.
- Must be extremely proficient with all, Excel, Power Point Presentations for German JV Partner Reporting.
- Negotiation /Vendor Development Experience in Synthetic Rubber & Auto components .
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to develop, analyse and summarize cost data, Interface with OEM customers.
- Must be an effective communicator with English communications skills for International Purchase & German JV Partner.
- Strong leadership skills & organizing capability for Team delivery in Key Result Area.
