Role & responsibilities

Read the record requests and fill the data into the client system, verify the demographic information of the patient, and ensure no breaches happen in PHI. Analyse and review records to detect discrepancies, ensure proper documentation, and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to correct errors and uphold HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills and a qualified attitude.

Proficiency in using medical record systems and office software.

Decent communication skills in English.

Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
