Position- Assistant Manager - Finance (Capex)

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for monitoring, controlling, reporting, and optimizing CAPEX expenditures while ensuring adherence to approved budgets, financial policies, and compliance requirements. The role involves close coordination with business, SCM, and corporate finance teams to drive effective CAPEX management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Monitoring and Control Track and monitor CAPEX expenditures against approved budgets and AOP.

Identify, analyze, and investigate budget variances and ensure timely corrective actions.

Establish and maintain financial controls to prevent cost leakages and ensure budget discipline.

2. Financial Reporting

Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports on CAPEX projects for circle leadership and stakeholders.

Highlight key financial metrics, budget utilization, project status, and potential financial risks.

Ensure accurate and timely submission of CAPEX-related financial information to the corporate finance team.

3. Cost Management

Analyze project costs to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.





Collaborate with SCM teams to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services at the circle level.

Drive cost optimization initiatives across CAPEX projects.

4. Compliance and Audit

Ensure all CAPEX transactions comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.

Maintain transparency, accuracy, and accountability in all CAPEX-related financial activities.

Support internal and external audit requirements related to CAPEX.

5. Continuous Improvement

Identify and implement best practices for CAPEX management across circles.

Develop and conduct training programs for non-finance teams to improve financial awareness and budget management capabilities.

Drive process improvements to enhance CAPEX governance.

6. Budget Control

Monitor overall CAPEX budgets and ensure expenditure remains within approved limits.

Ensure budget utilization is aligned with approved business plans and authorization processes.

Provide periodic insights on budget status and utilization trends.
