ABOUT DBMCI ONE
DBMCI One is a learning platform for medical students and doctors, a product of NHPL (Neuroglia Health Private Limited), a subsidiary of M3, Inc., Japan's largest healthcare company, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
NHPL is also the company behind Marrow, India's largest and most trusted learning platform for NEET PG preparation.
DBMCI One brings together the legacy of Dr. Bhatia's Medical Coaching Institute, trusted by generations of medical aspirants, with the product velocity and data discipline of a modern tech company. We are building the definitive learning platform for India's next generation of doctors: one that adapts to how each aspirant learns, making the journey from preparation to practice measurably better.
The stakes are real. The ambition is bigger.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Product Manager to own the learner growth and engagement charter at DBMCI One. This is not a coordination role. It is a high-ownership position where you define what keeps a medical student coming back every day, what drives them from trial to deep engagement, and what ultimately makes them succeed.
You are joining at an inflection point. The habits and learning outcomes you shape today will determine how thousands of medical students learn, and in turn, how they diagnose, treat, and care for millions of patients tomorrow.
You will work hand-in-hand with Engineering, Design, Content, Data, and Marketing to ship a product that moves real numbers and real lives.
AI is not a tool you will be asked to explore here. It is the default. You are expected to prototype, automate, and iterate using AI natively from day one.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Own the full growth loop:
Activation Engagement Habit Formation Retention for DBMCI One learners across platforms.
- Define and drive the product roadmap for learner-facing features, from discovery through experimentation, launch, and post-launch iteration.
- Use AI-assisted prototyping and vibe-coding tools to independently build and test product ideas, reducing dependence on full engineering cycles for early validation.
- Design and run GTM experiments: scope the hypothesis, build a lean version, get it in front of real users, gather feedback, and iterate fast before committing to a full build.
- Design and run A/B experiments at pace. Test hypotheses, kill what does not work, and double down on what does.
- Conduct structured user research: interviews, session analysis, and cohort studies to uncover the real reasons learners drop off or stay hooked.
- Identify leading indicators of learner success and build features that move them, not vanity metrics.
- Use agentic AI and automation workflows to accelerate research synthesis, user feedback analysis, and product iteration cycles.
- Write crisp PRDs, define acceptance criteria, and partner with Engineering and Design through the full delivery cycle.
- Own the metrics framework for your charter. Build dashboards, present to leadership, and stay fully accountable for outcomes.
- Work closely with the Content and Academics teams to ensure product and pedagogy reinforce each other.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2 to 4 years of Product Management experience at a tech-first company. Consumer internet, EdTech, or mobile-first products are strongly preferred.
- Strong product thinking grounded in user behaviour. You can articulate the "why behind the why" for any user action or drop-off.
- Hands-on data fluency: SQL, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, and A/B experiment design. You live in data, not just talk about it.
- AI fluency is non-negotiable. Proficient with AI-assisted prototyping and vibe-coding tools (Cursor, Bolt, Lovable, Replit, or similar). Practical experience with agentic AI workflows, automation, and prompt engineering applied to product work.
- Technical fluency: You can hold a system design conversation with Engineering, understand API dependencies, and make informed build-vs-scope decisions.
- Proven ability to run end-to-end GTM experiments: scope, build, launch, gather user feedback, and iterate with speed and structure.
- First-principles thinker. You do not copy-paste frameworks; you reason from the user and the context up.
- High ownership, low excuses. You move fast, learn faster, and take full responsibility for what ships and what it achieves.
- Transparent, structured communicator. You can align a cross-functional team with a well-framed problem statement and a sharp point of view.
