India's wealth is moving into private markets faster than ever, and the people who lead this frontier will shape the next chapter of Indian investing. AIFs are multiplying, and the investors we work with are increasingly drawn to them, but a genuine, first-principles understanding of this asset class is still rare. We're looking for someone who wants to build exactly that, and help shape how Dezerv thinks about private markets from the ground up.

Responsibilities

- Take ownership of the ~ 1,000 crore private markets pipeline we have already built, know every position inside out, and grow it.
- Understand AIFs more deeply than almost anyone in the country - how they're structured, where returns actually come from, and how their economics and fees really work.
- Build the judgment to tell a genuinely great fund and fund manager from one that just looks the part and know the ecosystem from the inside: the managers, the platforms, the people who move it.
- Own Dezerv's relationships across private markets, and become the person the best managers call first.
- Form a real point of view on where private markets are heading in India and put Dezerv a step ahead of it.
- Become the voice of private markets at Dezerv on stage, on the platforms that matter, and across the table from some of India's most responsible investors,



turning a confusing asset class into something clients genuinely trust.

Who we're looking for / Requirements

- Five or more years in private equity, venture capital, or an adjacent seat in a financial sponsors group, or a consulting VC/PE practice that advises fund managers on strategy, structuring, and diligence.
- Enough heft to be credible from day one.
- You know the machinery fund structures, fee and carry economics, and what actually drives a fund's returns, and you're the kind of person who wants to understand a thing down to its wiring, not just its headline.
- You can take something genuinely complex and make it feel simple - the skill that makes you credible on a stage, and across the table from a client.
- You're happiest a step ahead of the room, and impatient to build something of your own.
- You want to own something end to end and build it into something much bigger, and you'd rather start now than wait your turn.
- This is an early, high-ownership seat working directly with the founding team on one of the biggest opportunities in Indian wealth.
