Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Floor Manager to oversee daily showroom operations, drive sales performance, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The Floor Manager will lead the sales team, manage customer engagement, monitor operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the showroom floor.
- Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Ensure every customer receives a premium shopping experience.
- Monitor customer flow and allocate sales executives effectively.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalations professionally and promptly.
- Ensure attractive product displays and visual merchandising standards are maintained.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the Inventory/Vault team for replenishment.
- Conduct daily floor briefings and communicate sales targets, promotions, and operational updates.
- Track daily sales performance and prepare reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, security policies, billing procedures, and company guidelines.
- Coordinate with Cashiers, Vault Executives, Merchandisers, and Accounts for smooth operations.
- Assist in inventory management, stock verification, and periodic audits.
- Train current employees on customer service standards, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
- Ensure proper grooming, discipline, and attendance of showroom staff.
- Support promotional campaigns, exhibitions, and showroom events.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety,
and overall ambience of the showroom.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Retail Management, or a related field.
- MBA or Retail Management certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 4-7 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in the Jewellery Retail Industry is highly preferred.
