Experience :

2-4 years in procurement / purchase support in a manufacturing setting, handling indirect materials, consumables, or small mechanical/electrical components.

Key Job Responsibilities :

Process purchase requisitions for small mechanical/electrical items, consumables, tools, PPE, and other indirect/MRO requirements raised by Production, Stores, and Engineering.

Prepare RFQs and comparative statements for multiple vendors; place and follow up Purchase Orders to ensure on-time delivery.

Maintain and update the vendor database for small-item suppliers; support onboarding of new local vendors under AM Purchases guidance.

Coordinate with Stores for material receipt verification, resolve short-supply/quality issues with vendors, and support timely GRN closure.

Track open POs and ageing,



and flag delays proactively to the Assistant Manager - Purchase.

Assist the Assistant Manager - Purchase with data compilation for cost tracking, vendor performance reports, and periodic audits.

Support cell, cooling-system, and container procurement administratively (documentation, follow-ups, filing) as directed, building toward larger procurement ownership over time.
