We are actively looking for FSSAI Certified Section In-Charge for Food Laboratory located at Ahmedabad with min 5 Yrs of relevant Experience.

Responsibilities:

1. QMS Implementation: Ensure implementation and maintenance of ISO/IEC 17025 management system, audits, and management reviews. Certified Internal auditor of ISO 17025.

2. Document Control: Review, update, and control SOPs, methods, and work instructions as per SGS procedures.

3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with ISO 17025, NABL, FSSAI, APEDA, EIC and other requirements.

4. Technical Operations: Supervise Microbiology and Biotechnology testing using conventional methods, rapid methods and handling of instruments such as PCR, RT-PCR, Genetic Ananlyser

5. Method Validation: Perform validation, verification, and development of current methods and matrices.

6. Equipment & CRM : Ensure calibration, maintenance of equipment, and proper CRM management. Safe handling of pure cultures

7. Training & Competence: Ensure team competence, training, and authorization as per ISO requirements

8.



QA & Data Integrity: Ensure PT/ILC participation, QA checks, and data integrity.

9. Continuous Improvement: Drive risk identification, corrective actions, and process improvements.

10. Safety: Ensure laboratory safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

M.Sc. Microbiology /Biotechnology; preferably a FSSAI certified Food Analyst

Experience:

58 years in food microbiology laboratory with ISO 17025 exposure

Technical Competencies

Knowledge of conventional and rapid methods, Operational know how for instruments like PCR, RT- PCR, Genetic analyser, sequncer, method validation and verification, ISO 17025, Regulatory requirements, and statistical analysis.

Key Deliverables

Maintain accreditation, PT participation, IQC compliance, ensure on-time delivery, audit readiness, and QA performance.
