Position: Senior Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience working with international clients, preferably US-based.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage general ledger accounting and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure accuracy of financial records and maintain supporting documentation.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports.
- Support audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.




- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support client accounting requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter/CMA/CPA preferred).
- 3–6 years of accounting experience, preferably handling US accounting.
- Robust knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or other ERP/accounting software .
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with US bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of month-end close and audit support.
- Familiarity with AP, AR, payroll, and fixed asset accounting.
- Experience working in a client-facing environment is an advantage.
