Deputy Manager-Insurance

Key Responsibilities:-

- Policy renewal - RFQ float, Quotations & placement
- Property Fire, IAR policies, FLOP, MLOP, EAR & CAR policies, CPM, Marine & STOP policies, Motor and Liability policies
- Claims related to above-mentioned policies specifically Fire, MBD, Marine
- Valuation & Risk Inspections
- Dealing with Insurers, Brokers & Loss Adjusters
- Coordinate with team members for finalization of different insurance policies
- Coordinate with Project Managers and team members to understand risks and take current Insurance Policies as per requirement
- Overseeing the Insurance portfolio New Insurance Policies and Renewals
- Regular monitoring of policies to be renewed and timely premium payments
- Coordinate with Insurance companies and brokers for best possible quotes
- Identifying & Understanding Risk, Preparing RFQ and Comparative, Negotiating with Insurers regarding pricing, terms & conditions
- Evaluate and present the risk to insurance companies, suggesting additional covers depending on requirement.
- Identifying risk exposures,



the insurance requirements and providing insurance solutions.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather data for issuance of new policies
- Interact with various departments from time to time to understand their concerns and identify improvement areas
- Have a good understanding of Insurance tariff
- Managing Insurance claims
- Discussion with insurer Brokers, Surveyors and TPA.
- Valuation, Risk Inspection, Spot Surveys, Claim Preparation & Settlement.

Required:

- Knowledge in Insurance Process and documentation
- Business awareness and industry knowledge
- Ability to drive cross functional team for common objectives.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Insurance coverages, wordings and pricing methodologies.
- Good knowledge of the Indian insurance market
- Good understanding of technical underwriting, underwriting and processes
