We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Area Operations Manager to lead and strengthen our business across the North East region.

Job Summary

The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operational performance of all Foodbay outlets across North East India. The role requires frequent travel to ensure operational standards, profitability, customer satisfaction, and compliance are consistently maintained. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong people management, operational, and business development skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all Foodbay outlets across the North East region.
- Ensure all stores consistently meet Foodbay's operational, hygiene, quality, and customer service standards.
- Conduct regular store audits and implement corrective action plans.
- Monitor store performance, sales, costs, and profitability.

Business Performance

- Drive sales growth through operational improvements and market initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs including sales, food cost, labour cost, wastage, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.

Team Leadership

- Recruit, train, and develop outlet managers and operational staff.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer-centric service.

Compliance & Quality

- Ensure compliance with Food Safety, FSSAI,



and local regulatory requirements.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and workplace safety.
- Conduct periodic operational and inventory audits.

Travel & Market Development

- Travel extensively across all North East states to visit existing and upcoming outlets.
- Identify operational improvement opportunities and recommend expansion strategies.
- Build strong relationships with franchisees, landlords, vendors, and local stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- 58 years of experience in multi-unit retail, QSR, caf, or food service operations.
- Proven experience managing multiple outlets or franchise operations.
- Solid leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze business data and drive operational improvements.
- Willingness to travel extensively across North East India.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
