About the Role

V2Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to lead and manage Record-to-Report (R2R), Financial Reporting, Month-End Close, and Finance Operations for a leading US-based retail organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial statement preparation, general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, cash flow reporting, and finance governance. This is an individual contributor role requiring regular interaction with client stakeholders and the ability to independently deliver high-quality, error-free outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Close & Reporting

- Lead end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Perform variance analysis and investigate significant financial fluctuations.
- Review General Ledger balances and accounting entries.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.

Balance Sheet Management & Reconciliations

- Review and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyze prepaid expenses, accruals, receivables, and key ledger accounts.
- Investigate reconciling items and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain supporting schedules and audit-ready documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

General Accounting & Controllership

- Review monthly accruals, journal entries, and prepaid amortization schedules.
- Support fixed asset accounting and depreciation reviews.
- Validate accounting treatment for complex transactions.
- Ensure accuracy of period-end adjustments and expense recognition.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

- Prepare and review monthly cash flow statements.
- Analyze working capital trends and cash movements.




- Support treasury reporting and liquidity management activities.
- Assist leadership with cash forecasting requirements.

Management Reporting & FP&A; Support

- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and financial presentations.
- Conduct revenue, expense, and profitability trend analysis.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc business reporting.
- Provide actionable financial insights to stakeholders.

Process Governance & Operational Excellence

- Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and control frameworks.
- Create and publish productivity reports, KPIs, MIS, and operational dashboards.
- Prepare Weekly Status Reports (WSRs) and governance presentations.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, prepare MOMs, and track action items.
- Identify automation opportunities and drive continuous process improvements.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with business leaders, controllers, auditors, and finance stakeholders.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Present financial insights and operational updates to senior leadership.
- Regularly interface with US-based client teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 1-4 years of experience in R2R, General Ledger Accounting, Financial Reporting, Controllership, or Finance Operations.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing month-end close and financial statement preparation.
- Solid expertise in:
- Financial Statement Preparation & Analysis
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- General Ledger Accounting
- Accruals & Prepaid Accounting
- Cash Flow Reporting

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including:

- Pivot Tables
- XLOOKUP
- SUMIFS
- Power Query




- Financial Modeling

- Experience working on ERP platforms such as:

- NetSuite
- SAP
- Oracle
- Microsoft Dynamics

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and deliver accurate, error-free outputs.

Preferred

- Experience in Retail, E-commerce, Consumer Products, or Shared Services environments.
- Exposure to US GAAP reporting.
- Experience managing client-facing finance operations.
- Process improvement and automation experience.
