Role OverviewThe NOC Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of DC / DR network infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of Routing, Switching, network security, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Monitoring:Proactively monitor network performance, identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.Security Management:Manage and maintain firewalls (Cisco Firepower, Checkpoint, Palo Alto), IPS/IDS systems, and other security devices.Network Troubleshooting:Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, performance, and security issues.Configuration Management:Implement and maintain network configurations, including IPsec, ACLs, VPN, and security hardening.Access Control:Manage Cisco ISE, NAC, Aruba ClearPass for NAC and Wi-Fi access control.Application Delivery:Manage F5 LB and WAF,



Radware for application delivery and security.Audits and Compliance:Assist with network audits, address audit findings, and ensure compliance with security standards.Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation.Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience with:Firewalls: Cisco Firepower, Checkpoint, Palo AltoIPS/IDS systemsIPsec, ACLs, VPNCisco ISE, NAC, Aruba ClearPassF5 LB and WAF, RadwareStrong understanding of network security principles and best practices.CCNA and CCNP security certifications preferred.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Additional Skills (Preferred)Experience with network automation toolsKnowledge of cloud-based network infrastructureExperience with network monitoring tools Additional JD for NOC:Routing, Switch & DATA CENTRE (CISCO ISR, CISCO ASR, , CISCO CATALYST switches) Positive troubleshooting skillsCCNA certification preferredShould have knowledge about Routing Protocols(BGP, OSPF) , Switching(VLAN, VPC, SVI) & IPsec , ACL'sPatching of network devices & monitoring of network devices.
