Role & responsibilities

The Investments Manager will play a critical role in investment decisions, M&A; and capital deployment, assist in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with potential investors, financial institutions, and stakeholders. This individual will drive fundraising efforts, promote the company's investment opportunities, and ensure effective communication between the company and its investors. The successful candidate should possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a solid background in financial analysis, valuation techniques, and managing investor relations, and should have a deep understanding of the electric mobility sector.

Preferred candidate profile

Responsibilities

1. Investment Strategy:

- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure capital for the company's growth and expansion plans.
- Collaborate with executive management to define fundraising goals and timelines.
- Identify potential investors, including venture capital firms, private equity firms, institutional investors, and strategic partners.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify investment trends and opportunities.
- Support equity investment decisions, capital deployment, portfolio valuation and asset-level performance.
- Build and review bid-stage and financial models for projects, supporting tariff discovery, IRR assessment, downside scenarios, and investment decision-making
- Support equity and quasi-equity fundraising with institutional investors, preparing investment memoranda, financial packs, and performance/valuation updates, and coordinating with Finance, Tax, and Compliance on capital flows, inter-company structures, distributions, audits etc.
- Evaluate financing structures, identifying capital optimization, refinancing, and risk-mitigation opportunities





Investor Relations:

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential investors, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, investment memorandums, and pitch decks to attract and engage investors.
- Respond to investor inquiries, providing timely and accurate information on the company's financial performance, growth prospects, and industry trends.
- Coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, and conference calls, ensuring smooth logistics and effective communication.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and valuation assessments to determine the value of the company, its assets, and investment opportunities.
- Prepare internal reports and presentations for senior management and the board of directors, summarizing valuation results, investor feedback, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and marketing, to gather necessary information and ensure accurate and consistent messaging to investors and stakeholders.

2. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

- Work closely with the finance team to analyze financial statements, investment metrics, and market data to support fundraising activities.
- Prepare investment-related reports, including valuation models, financial forecasts, and due diligence materials.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, investor sentiment,



and regulatory developments affecting the electric mobility sector.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management regarding fundraising strategies and capital allocation decisions.
- Monitor operational assets, tracking generation, revenues, cash flows, covenant headroom, and equity returns against base-case and lender models, and explained variances for internal and investor reporting

3. Compliance and Legal:

- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, securities laws, and disclosure requirements related to fundraising activities.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and external advisors to draft and review investment agreements, term sheets, and other legal documentation.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and corporate governance standards relevant to investor relations.

Skills

- Self-starter, ability to work independently, handle ambiguous situations, and exercise judgment in a variety of situations.
- Proven experience in fundraising and investor relations within the electric mobility or renewable energy industry.
- Deep knowledge of financial markets, investment vehicles, and fundraising strategies.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform financial analysis and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with investors and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to investor relations.
