Role & responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle including drafting, review, negotiation, execution, renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Conduct rights verification, chain-of-title checks, and due diligence for music, audio-visual, and digital content acquisitions.
- Handle copyright enforcement matters including takedowns, infringement responses, counter-notices, and platform-level disputes.
- Ensure compliance with digital platform policies and content regulations across YouTube, Meta, OTT platforms and other DSPs.
- Track and enforce contractual obligations including deliverables, exclusivity, payment terms, recoupment, and termination triggers.
- Manage legal disputes, legal notices, and pre-litigation matters, and coordinate directly with external counsel when required.
- Own and maintain all legal documentation, contract repositories, templates,



and internal legal SOPs.

Preferred candidate profile

- LLB from a recognized university.
- MUST HAVE prior experience in media, entertainment, digital content, music, OTT, or related industries preferred.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
- Practical understanding of digital platforms, content licensing, and rights management workflows is an advantage.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced workplace.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, and risk-spotting ability.
