JD For Accounts Department Job Title Accountant Luxury Retail Location Chennai Nungambakkam Experience 08 to 20 yr Industry Luxury Retail Preferred Open to Other Industries Reporting To Director Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our luxury retail store team The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in accounting with strong proficiency in Tally GST TDS and general compliance Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi are essential Candidates with prior experience in luxury retail or high-end brands will be given preference but applicants from other industries with the right skill set are also welcome Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally ERP Handle GST filings TDS deductions and ensure timely compliance Prepare and maintain all necessary reports and financial statements Coordinate with auditors vendors and internal departments as required Ensure accurate bookkeeping invoicing and payment tracking Assist with inventory accounting and reconciliation in coordination with the sales and stock teams Liaise with the Director on all financial matters and provide regular updates Manage petty cash bank reconciliations and expense tracking Maintain organized documentation for all accounting records Support in budgeting and forecasting as required Key Requirements Bachelor s degree in Commerce Accounting Finance Master s degree or CA Inter is a plus 10 to 15 years of experience in accounting roles Proficient in Tally ERP Solid knowledge of GST TDS and other statutory compliance requirements Strong communication skills in English Tami and Hindi both verbal and written Ability to work independently and report directly to senior management High level of integrity accuracy and attention to detail Candidates with experience in luxury retail fashion or high-end lifestyle brands are highly preferred Additional Information Industry Background Luxury Retail preferred however other industry backgrounds will also be considered Working Environment Boutique luxury store with direct interaction with leadership Salary To be discussed Competitive based on experience Job Type Permanent Pay 40 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Advantages Provident Fund Work Location In person
