Wherever you are in the amazing world of Disney you are contributing to the stories of our iconic brands recognized by audiences everywhere for entertainment information and inspiration Innovation imagination and inclusion are at the core of Disney defining the experience that we deliver as well as providing the foundation of our success The scope of our business combined with global growth and collaboration result in an inclusive employee experience characterized by continuous learning development and achievement Job Overview The Assistant Manager Compensation Benefits will support the implementation and administration of compensation and benefits programs for Disney s Technology Center in Bangalore This role will work closely with the HR Business Partners Talent Acquisition and Finance teams to ensure alignment with global and regional Total Rewards strategies The position will contribute to market benchmarking compensation planning and compliance efforts while also supporting communication and education initiatives for employees and leaders Key Responsibilities Assist in day-to-day compensation administration including job evaluations salary offers and internal equity reviews Support annual compensation processes such as merit increases bonus programs and long-term incentives Conduct market benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business needs Ensure compliance with local compensation and benefits regulations Prepare reports and dashboards for compensation and benefits -related metrics and trends Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to address compensation and benefits queries and provide guidance Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of C B operations Support communication and training efforts related to compensation and benefits programs Support the execution of local benefits programs including health risk insurance wellness initiatives and retirement plans etc Coordinate with the Regional Benefits team to ensure timely rollout and localization of benefits offerings Assist in tracking and documenting legislative changes impacting employee benefits in India Maintain benefits-related data accuracy in HR systems and support audits and compliance checks Work with GHRO to provide responses to employee inquiries and escalate complex cases to the Senior Manager or Regional Benefits team Participate in benefits benchmarking exercises and contribute to reporting and analysis Work in close collaborate with HR Operations and Payroll to ensure smooth administration of benefits processes Required Qualifications 5 years of experience in compensation and or advantages within the Indian market and High Tech Industry experience a plus Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Finance or related field required Relevant certification preferred Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail Familiarity with compensation structures benchmarking methodologies and regulatory frameworks Effective communication skills both written and verbal Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment Proficiency in Microsoft Excel experience with SAP Workday or similar systems is a plus Strong sense of ownership and accountability Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information Team-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused mindset Education Bachelor s degree in human resources Business Finance or related field or equivalent experience gained within an international matrixed organization Relevant certification preferred The Walt Disney Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer We strive to be a diverse workforce that is representative of our audiences and where all can thrive and belong We are committed to building a team that includes and respects a variety of voices identities backgrounds experiences and perspectives
