Position- Quality Assurance Control Key Responsibilities Develop implement and maintain the company s Quality Management System QMS typically ISO 9001 or similar specifically tailored for metal fabrication Establish and enforce Quality Control QC procedures and inspection plans for all stages of fabrication including raw material inspection in-process checks cutting bending welding machining and final product inspection Conduct regular internal quality audits and prepare the facility for external audits Manage the Non-Conformance Report NCR process including identification documentation root cause analysis and implementation of effective Corrective and Preventive Actions CAPA Oversee the calibration and maintenance of all inspection measuring and test equipment Inspection and Testing Perform or supervise the inspection of raw materials e g steel plates sections pipes for compliance with material specifications and mill certificates Verify dimensional accuracy and fit-up of components using precision measuring instruments Prepare detailed inspection reports final documentation and Quality reports for customer submission Process Improvement Collaborate with Production and Design teams to proactively address quality issues and implement process improvements to reduce scrap rework and cycle time Qualifications and Skills Required Education Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Experience Minimum 3 years of progressive experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role in the metal fabrication piping general fabrication etc Technical Knowledge Deep understanding of metal fabrication processes including welding cutting forming machining and finishing QMS Expertise Proven experience implementing and managing an ISO 9001 or equivalent QMS Communication Written and verbal communication skills in English and relevant local languages for effective interaction with internal teams suppliers and customers CTC 3-4 Lakhs Working location Narhe Pune Job Type Full-time Pay 200 000 00 - 500 000 00 per year Advantages Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
