Job Title CSSD Technician Location Malar Hospital Hosur Department Central Sterile Supply Department CSSD Reports To CSSD Incharge Employment Type Full-time Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and responsible CSSD Technician to carry out the sterilization disinfection and preparation of surgical instruments and medical equipment The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of infection control protocols and must ensure proper handling and availability of sterile instruments as per hospital standards Key Responsibilities Collect clean disinfect and sterilize surgical instruments trays and other reusable medical equipment Operate and monitor autoclaves ETO machines and other sterilization equipment Pack and label sterile items following protocols and expiry norms Maintain logs and records of sterilization processes and equipment checks Ensure sterile supplies are delivered to Operation Theatres ICUs and wards as needed Follow infection control practices PPE usage and waste disposal protocols Monitor sterilization indicators and report any malfunction or deviation Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the CSSD area Coordinate with OT ICU and nursing teams for instrument needs Assist in audits and ensure compliance with NABH guidelines Qualifications Skills Diploma in CSSD Technology or relevant paramedical qualification 1-2 years of experience in a hospital CSSD preferred Knowledge of sterilization techniques Steam ETO Plasma Attention to detail hygiene consciousness and good communication skills Familiarity with NABH standards is an advantage Work Timings Shift-based duty Regards HR Department hr malarhospitals com (phone hidden) Malar Hospital Hosur Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 14 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund
