Job Purpose An electrician maintains calibrates adjusts and repairs industrial measuring instruments and electrical troubleshooting They need to work in a cross-functional team such as process area associates as shift electrician They will be responsible for handling all maintenance activities related to electrical controls and working on measuring and controlling instrumentation Key Responsibilities Referring toelectrical and control drawings for MCC Motor control center PLC panel troubleshooting Calibrating and maintaining control measurement and indicating instrumentation pneumatic analog digital for plant equipment Troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controls PLC and Variable frequency Drives etc in terms of hardware Capable of conducting loop checking for Inputs Outputs and instruments Inspecting and testing the operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults Maintaining various computer-based control systems Troubleshooting SCADA Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition HMI Human Machine Interface in terms of hardware and operation Removing repairing adjusting and replacing components Observing safety in accordance with government and company standards Havinga basic electrical knowledge base Have valuable knowledge of a metal detector
