We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Desktop Hardware Service Engineer to install troubleshoot and maintain desktop systems hardware components and peripheral devices The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing and resolving hardware-related issues and delivering prompt technical support to users or clients Key Responsibilities Install configure and upgrade desktops laptops and peripheral devices printers scanners etc Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues including motherboards RAM hard drives power supplies and monitors Perform routine preventive maintenance and health checks on systems Replace or repair defective parts using proper tools and procedures Support operating system installations and driver updates Maintain logs of repairs service requests and inventory of hardware components Provide on-site or remote technical support to users or clients Coordinate with vendors for warranty support or hardware replacement Ensure compliance with company IT policies and data security standards Requirements Diploma or Degree in Computer Hardware IT Electronics or related field Proven experience as a desktop support or hardware service engineer Strong understanding of desktop and laptop architecture Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware-related issues Familiarity with operating systems like Windows Linux etc Basic knowledge of networking and system configuration is a plus Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Must be willing to travel locally if needed for on-site support roles Preferred Qualifications Certification in hardware or IT support e g CCNA CompTIA A MCP etc Experience in handling IT asset management and inventory control Exposure to ticketing systems or service management platforms What We Offer Competitive salary and performance incentives Opportunities for technical training and skill development Supportive and growth-oriented work environment Travel allowance if applicable Medical Insurance Job Type Full time Pay 18 000 00 - 21 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Ability to commute relocate Poonamallee Chennai Tamil Nadu Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Application Question s Two Wheeler Required Education Diploma Preferred Experience IT 1 year Required total work 1 year Required Language English Required Willingness to travel 50 Required Work Location In person
