- Project-Based Role Overview We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to lead and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for a prestigious luxury 5-star hotel project in Mumbai.
- The role demands strong technical expertise, coordination skills, and experience in high-end hospitality projects to ensure world-class quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Planning & Execution Lead end-to-end execution of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, BMS, and IBMS systems.
- Review and finalize MEP drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Ensure MEP works align with architectural, structural, and interior design requirements.
- Coordination & Stakeholder Management Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, interior designers, and hotel operators.
- Attend project coordination meetings and resolve site-level clashes and constructability issues.
- Liaise with local authorities for statutory approvals and inspections.
- Quality, Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with NBC, local codes, IS standards, fire norms, green building standards, and hotel brand guidelines.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures.
- Enforce strict HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards at site.
- Budget & Cost Control Monitor BOQs, budgets, and cash flow related to MEP packages.
- Evaluate contractor bills, variations, and claims.




- Optimize designs and execution for cost efficiency without compromising luxury standards.
- Testing, Commissioning & Handover Plan and oversee testing, commissioning, balancing, and performance validation of all MEP systems.
- Ensure smooth handover documentation, as-built drawings, O&M; manuals, and training to facility management teams.
- Support defect liability period and post-handover troubleshooting.

Key Systems Exposure (Must-Have)

- Central HVAC (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF) HT/LT Electrical Systems, DG Sets, UPS Plumbing, Drainage & STP/WTP Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm Systems ELV:
- CCTV, Access Control, PA, Data & Telecom BMS / IBMS Luxury guest room and back-of-house services Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering PMP or equivalent certification (preferred) Green Building exposure (LEED/IGBC preferred)
- Experience 12-18 years of overall MEP experience Minimum 5-7 years in luxury hotel / hospitality / high-end commercial projects Prior experience with 5-star or branded hotel projects is mandatory
