Job Overview

BBC TopGear India is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Automotive Journalist who lives and breathes cars and motorcycles. The ideal candidate should be comfortable reviewing vehicles, creating engaging content, presenting on camera, and covering the latest developments in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Test and review cars/ motorcycles across various segments and categories.
- Create engaging editorial, video, and social media content for digital and print platforms.
- Work closely with editorial, video production, and social media teams to deliver high-quality content.
- Research and stay updated on automotive trends, emerging technologies, EVs, and industry developments.
- Conduct interviews with industry experts, manufacturers, and key stakeholders.
- Develop original story ideas and features that resonate with automotive enthusiasts and consumers.




- Contribute to content planning, scripting, and execution across multiple platforms.

Requirements

- 2-4 years of experience in automotive journalism, content creation, vehicle reviews, or digital media.
- Robust understanding of cars/ motorcycles, and the automotive industry.
- Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Confident on camera with experience presenting reviews and feature content.
- Passion for automobiles and creating engaging audience-focused content.
- Willingness to travel extensively for reviews, shoots, launches, and events.
- Experience with social media platforms, video production, and content creation is preferred.
- Valid driving and motorcycle riding license.
