This is a Lead Employment Counsel opportunity with a large organization in the FMCG sector Draft review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts including full spectrum of employment and labour law matters across diverse workforces including corporate and manufacturing employees Advise on and help ensure compliance with employment and labour legislations including relating to recruiting and hiring of employees and contingent workers employee classification employee contracts employee privacy workplace policies and procedures payroll benefits and compensation Support Employee Relations Human Resources and business teams in employment-related decision-making including restructurings investigations and workforce management Draft review and negotiate employment contracts separation settlement agreements and workplace policies Support development and implementation of training for employees across India on critical topics such as harassment prevention Monitor and analyse changes and emerging trends in employment and labour law providing clear guidance on their implications for business operations workforce management practices and compliance obligations Only candidates based out of Mumbai or willing to relocate applyOnly candidates with Employment law experience 15 PQE apply A successful Legal Counsel should have A degree in law from a recognized institution At-least 15 years of experience with a focus on employment laws Experience working in the FMCG or food industry will be advantageous Excellent analytical and communication skills for providing sound legal advice The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively Our client is a leading player in the FMCG sector with global operations Market-competitive salary Hybrid working Leadership role Global Exposure
