The Sports Teacher is responsible for developing students physical abilities fitness and sportsmanship The role involves planning organizing and delivering structured sports and physical education programs while encouraging teamwork discipline and a healthy lifestyle Key Responsibilities Plan design and deliver engaging sports and physical education lessons in line with curriculum requirements Teach and coach a variety of sports indoor and outdoor suitable for different age groups Promote the importance of health fitness and well-being among students Organize inter-house inter-school and intra-school sports competitions and events Identify and nurture talented students for school sports teams and guide them in professional competitions Maintain discipline safety and inclusivity during physical education classes and sports activities Ensure proper use and maintenance of sports equipment and facilities Encourage values of teamwork respect leadership and fair play Collaborate with academic and co-curricular staff for holistic student development Maintain records of student performance participation and achievements in sports Qualifications Skills Bachelor s Master s degree in Physical Education B P Ed M P Ed or equivalent Strong knowledge of various sports fitness techniques and physical training methods Previous teaching or coaching experience preferably in a school setting Excellent communication motivational and organizational skills Ability to work with students of varying age groups and skill levels Certification in first aid or sports coaching preferred Key Competencies Passion for sports and student development Physical fitness and stamina Classroom and field management skills Creativity in lesson planning and activities Robust interpersonal and mentoring ability Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Language English Preferred Work Location In person
