A position within the accounting department of an apparel company responsible for managing financial records related to garment production sales inventory and other aspects of the fashion industry including tasks like tracking costs analyzing sales data ensuring accurate inventory management and managing accounts payable and receivable specific to the apparel sector essentially overseeing the financial health of the apparel business by monitoring key metrics and ensuring compliance with accounting standards Financial Reporting Preparing accurate financial statements including profit and loss statements balance sheets and cash flow analysis specifically tailored to the apparel industry Cost Accounting Tracking and analyzing production costs like fabric labor and overhead to identify areas for cost optimization Inventory Management Maintaining accurate inventory records monitoring stock levels and managing stock rotation to minimize losses due to overstocking or obsolescence Sales Analysis Analyzing sales data to identify trends assess performance of different product lines and inform future sales strategies Accounts Payable and Receivable Processing vendor payments managing customer invoices and ensuring timely collections of outstanding receivables Budgeting and Forecasting Collaborating with management to develop budgets forecast sales and monitor financial performance against targets Compliance Ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and tax regulations within the apparel industry Internal Controls Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud Skills and Qualifications for an Account Role Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Experience with accounting software preferably Tally Knowledge of the apparel industry including production processes sales cycles and market trends Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with different departments within the company Its a full time job Timing 9 30 AM to 6 30 PM and office is at India Gate Tonk Road Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Perks Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
